  • Participants in business analysis exercises will first review a Vision and Scope Document to understand the project goals. Then, they will identify key stakeholders and other sources of requirements to ensure all perspectives are included. Next, they will plan activities for the project and conduct stakeholder interviews to gather necessary insights. They will also take part in a requirements workshop to improve collaborative requirement gathering.

     

  • Choosing the right way to gather information for the project is very important. Participants will create flowcharts and use case diagrams to visualize processes and interactions. They will analyze location models and use organizational models to find any missing stakeholders, ensuring that everyone who needs to be involved is considered.

     

  • Finally, participants will learn to prioritize requirements based on business value to manage the project effectively. They will evaluate and critique a set of requirements to make sure they meet project goals. They will assess the impact of proposed changes and help make decisions between solution options.
